Our primary mission is to rescue, so let us show you what we do
Winston is a 13-year-old White horse that stands 13.3 hands.
He was a carriage horse in downtown Ensenada and had an extremely hard life before coming to us. His upper lip had been torn by a dog. His feet were in terrible condition and he was seriously underweight. With love, good food and a lot of vet care Winston became a good trail horse and enjoys being part of the herd.
Sadly, on the 13th of June 2020 Winston had a fall and broke his hip. He had severe osteoporosis and we were unable to save his life. He was a great example of what we do as a rescue to heal those 2who come to us both physically and emotionally.

This is Winston six months after we received him. Most of his health issues have been resolved, he has put on weight and spends his days happily on the trails with a light rider.
